Advising Tools for Students
The links below can help you answer almost any question about UIUC academic policies and procedures. If you don't find the answer to your question, or don't find your question, contact the HDFS advising coordinator at gwalter@illinois.edu.
Get a complete report of your progress toward your degree: which requirements you've met, which you still need to meet, and what courses will meet them. Remember that DARS audits update daily, so if you add a class today it won't show up in DARS until tomorrow.
Find printable pdf files of forms for requesting a credit overload, electing CR/NC grading, taking a course at Parkland, substituting for a required course, dropping a course after the deadline, and more.
Transcripts/Enrollment Verification
Order and send a copy of your UIUC transcript, or print a verification of your enrollment at UI for scholarships, insurance discounts, etc.
See how a course at another institution will transfer to UIUC, or see what community college course will be equivalent to a specific UI course.
Find the last day to add or drop a class, when registration for next semester begins, etc.
